Porsche Taycan road trip in Portugal
Portugal suits an electric grand tourer: quiet roads, short distances between the best places, and a charging network that has caught up with the way people travel.
Why a Taycan Cross Turismo
The Cross Turismo adds ground clearance and a gravel mode to the Taycan’s performance: 590 hp on overboost, 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds, all-wheel drive and air suspension. It is built for long-distance touring, and it keeps its composure when the road turns to something less than perfect.
Range and charging in practice
Real-world range is typically 300 to 450 km depending on route, weather and driving style. The Taycan charges from 10 to 80% in about 18 minutes on a fast charger. ATLNTX routes are planned around reliable charging, and a charging card for the car is provided. Charging costs and tolls are included in the expedition price.
How far you drive each day
ATLNTX routes are designed around the quality of the road, not the distance. A typical driving day is 150 to 350 km, which leaves time for lunch, a vineyard or a long walk on a beach.
No EV experience needed
First-time electric drivers are welcome. Handover includes a practical introduction to charging, vehicle systems and route-specific guidance, and support is available throughout the journey.
Who can drive
Drivers must be at least 25 with two years’ licence experience. A licence recognised in Portugal is sufficient. A second driver can be declared in advance.
Every ATLNTX expedition is private and built around you. No groups, no schedules.
